An employee who won an arbitration award of more than $216,000 against a defunct television station has lost a bid to recover the award from a community foundation and its supporting organization that funded the nonprofit station’s operating expenses.
An appellate court in Ohio has affirmed a trial court decision dismissing the claim against The Cleveland Foundation and the City of Cleveland Minority Arts and Education Fund, its supporting organization that actually made the grant to the Cleveland Television Network.
